Levoča medieval architecture in my work

I am also looking for inspiration in medieval architecture of my hometown – Levoča. I modify architectural elements such as vaults, a broken arch, a support system, rough walls, conical window shutters, and create new objects called Gothic Gates and Gothic Windows – see my Glass Work.

The distinctive color of the individual works is inspired by the distinctive color of Gothic stained glass. Medieval architecture fascinates me not only with regard to the town of Levoča, where I come from, but also with regard to the castle Spišský hrad. They are both known in Slovakia as a “gems of Gothic” and is inscribed on the UNESCO list.
